Various software tools for the analysis of observational data and model output were developed in the RETRO project. Some of these have been extensively used in other projects such as the international model intercomparison activities ACCENT/IPCC Photocomp or the TFHTAP multi-model intercomparison study. The tools listed below are provided without warranty and we assume no responsibility for their functioning. Documentation is usually included with each software package, but the completeness of documentation varies.
